Collaborators¶
Share a project with other researchers without sharing your account.
Inviting¶
Invite a collaborator by email from the project. The invitee must hold a Probova account under that email and must explicitly accept, from the link in the invitation email or the banner on their dashboard. Until acceptance the invitation grants nothing, and the acceptance link is single-use.
What collaborators can do¶
Accepted collaborators work with the shared project essentially as the owner does, build and edit questions, arrange Survey Logic, manage rating items, view responses, download participant files, and export data. The project stays under the owner's account, and only the owner manages its collaborator list.
Collaborators see shared projects in a dedicated dashboard section, never inside the owner's folders, and the owner's other projects stay invisible to them. Asset libraries remain personal, a collaborator sees the assets used inside the shared survey where they appear, but not the owner's wider library.
Removing access¶
The owner can remove a collaborator at any time, access ends immediately.
Ownership and account deletion¶
Ownership normally never moves. The exception is account deletion, when an owner deletes their account, every project that has accepted collaborators requires an explicit per-project decision, transfer ownership to one of that project's collaborators (the project survives intact under the new owner, other collaborators keep access) or delete it for everyone including all collected files. See Profile and account deletion.
When a collaborator deletes their own account, their access simply dissolves, the owner's project is untouched and no decision is required from anyone.
