Presets and the Question Repository¶
Two reuse mechanisms save you from rebuilding the same content, choice presets for answer lists and the Question Repository for whole questions.
Choice presets¶
Any choice-based question's Use Preset menu applies a saved list of choices in one click, built-in scales (agreement, frequency, satisfaction, and similar) plus your own. Save your own from a question you have already built with Save options as preset, manage them from the Assets page. Applying a preset replaces the question's current choices, undo restores the previous list.
The Question Repository¶
Save to Question Repository (the bookmark icon on a question card) snapshots the entire question, type, text, helper text, choices with mapped values and follow-ups, matrix structure, scale configuration, validation, everything except display logic, which stays behind because it references questions in the source block.
Insert a saved question into any survey from the Builder's add-question flow. Insertion copies, later edits to the saved version never silently change surveys that used it, and edits inside a survey never change the repository copy.
Saved questions are managed on the Assets page, where each one opens in a full editor with the same capabilities as the Builder's question editor, type changes with content migration, rich text with image insertion, drag-reorder, bulk edit, presets, matrix row and column editing including slider mode, scale anchors, validation, the lot. Whatever you can configure on a question in the Builder, you can configure on its repository copy.
Bulk Edit¶
For fast list entry, Bulk Edit on any choice-based question opens the choices as plain text, one per line. Paste a list from anywhere, close, and the choices are replaced wholesale. Mapped values survive for lines that did not change.
